Fall Fun

We have had a lot going on and a ton to blog about the last several weeks, but I have been a total slacker about blogging. We have been so blessed with such a good baby. Ava is growing so much so fast. She is now constantly smiling and just has the most pleasant personality. Bella has been such a good big sister, actually she claims to be "The Best Big Sister in the Whole Wide World!" Halloween was so much fun. I am just getting so excited that Christmas is just around the corner. I think Bella is going to love it. I have just included some pictures from the past month and a half...

Bella with her "best cousin" Nathan. They had so much fun playing together...if only they could live closer.

Bella with Annalyn and Aimee. They are so good to her.

We blessed Ava while Annette and her family were here, on October 12th. It was a great day and we had so much support from our Family & Friends! Thanks to all of you who came.

Ava started smiling at 4 1/2 weeks! By six weeks she was smiling constantly. She is such a good baby!

Bella had a BLAST with all of her cousins at the Morgan Family Halloween Party! They played lots of fun games and got some great prizes and candy."Tinkerbella" on Halloween. Her face is all red because she had a bad cold all week and was getting a rash! Poor thing.
Ava was a kitty for Halloween. Her costume is so cute. We are nerds. I guess we were Mexican Wrestlers for our Halloween Parties. And of course we are too cheap to ever buy our own costumes so we borrowed from Crystal and Taylor!

I love her little smile!! Such a cutie.

Ava Sophia Morgan is finally here!!

Ava was born on September 20, 2008 at 10:33 a.m. She weighed 7 lbs 2 oz and was 19.5 inches. They induced me at about 8:00 that morning and my labor could not have gone better. It was so easy (thanks to the epidural) and the nurse said it was the fastest she has ever seen. I think I pushed for about a minute and a half total! Ava is such a doll! We love her so much already. Bella loves her little sister and is so sweet with her. We just feel so blessed to finally have our healthy baby girl here to cuddle.

Summer Projects: Before/After

So my husband is the greatest ever! We built our home in Eagle Mountain just two years ago this summer, and I already decided that I wanted to redo a lot of the flooring and all of the cabinets. (In my defense, we didn't upgrade these very much because I knew that if we stayed more than a couple of years I would want to update them anyways.)

Devin has been so awesome and worked so hard all summer doing projects from my many lists. He is getting to be quite a pro, especially at laminate. Devin pretty much did all of the laminate himself in our kitchen, family room, entry, and 2 1/2 baths. We also refinished all of our cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms white. We all pitched in with this, but a special thanks to my mom who painted the majority of the frames and my dad who sprayed all of the doors and drawers like a pro! I love the new look. Now I just really need to start decorating. Anyways, here is a look at some of the before and after pictures that I took.

Stay tuned because I am hoping to have a new post with our baby girl coming soon!!

My Girls Weekend

A couple weekends ago, I was lucky enough to go with my best friends from high school to Park City. We shopped a ton at the Outlets (I got some way cute stuff for the new baby) and we stayed in a hotel overnight for a sleepover (although we didn't sleep much). It was so fun to reminisce and laugh about the good old days as well as keep updated on all our current lives. It is so hard for me to ever leave Bella, but I think that her and Daddy had some much needed quality alone time. I am just so lucky to have such amazing friends. I truly think that we will all stay close forever. And P.S. I am HUGE in all these pictures!

Highlights of Summer 08'

We were so lucky to have my Grandpa and Grandma Jensen come for Jamie's wedding in July. It is always so good to spend time with them.
Bella absolutely loves water and boating. She has no hesitation to jump off the boat and swim with Daddy. She has so much fun boating!
This is Nate, Bella and Crystal on the tube at Utah Lake. I couldn't believe how much Bella loved tubing and that she wasn't scared at all. She just wanted to go faster!
While we had the whole Jensen side here, we went camping and early morning fishing at Schofield. Let's just say I didn't sleep all night, I was freezing and miserable, but Bella loved fishing the next morning and we were in good company, so it was all worth it!
Devin had a work party at Lagoon, so we decided to go on a few rides after the lunch. This is me and Bella on the BIG Ferris Wheel.
Although Bella absolutely refused to ride all of the "kiddie rides" at the Carnival, she loved the big slide. She couldn't get enough of this ride. She got everyone (except prego mommy) to take her for a ride.
Devin and Bella at the Pony Express Days Carnival! Bella had a BLAST!
This picture was acutally taken on Mother's Day. I put it on because just a couple weeks later, on June 6th, we were shocked to find out that my Grandma Bennion passed away. I love this picture because it just shows how happy she was and how much she loves her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
We miss her and will continue to remember her legacy!
We started out our summer by taking Bella to the Hogle Zoo over Memorial Day weekend. She had a lot of fun seeing all the animals we read about all the time up close and personal.

It's a GIRL!!

Since Devin and I just couldn't wait the extra six weeks to find out the gender of our new baby, we went to fetal studios at 15 weeks to find out. I think Devin and I were both shocked to find out that we are having another baby girl. I was so sure that it was a boy because of all the "signs." This pregnancy has been really different than with Bella. Now that it has sunk in I am SO EXCITED! I just love pink and bows and bracelets and all that cute stuff! I am so glad that Bella will have a sister so close to her age. Crystal and I have been such good friends over the years, from making "Crystal Jensen" shows when we were little to talking to and seeing each other almost daily now. I hope that they will get along like we have (with the exception of our high school clothes and boy fights!) We just feel so blessed that we are able to have another baby and pray that she will be healthy.
